Just got back from Marden's in Waterville and they just got in a huge selection of Free Spirit fabric, many different designers and patterns and all for only $2.99 a yard. So if you live near a Mardens check it out. Cause as you Mainers know "you should of bought it, when you saw it at Marden's"

I love those commercials. I was at the Marden's in Lewiston a few weeks ago, great fabric selection at a great price.

There are a lot of quilters on Mt. Desert Island where I live. I will have to jostle them to join.

There are a few shops but not as good as the ones in NY State that I go to when I visit my friend.

We have a new one in Bar Harbor. She is just starting out and doing an excellent job thus far. Right in the center of town too. Good for the winter!

I do a lot of buying of patterns online also plus I have an extensive library of books with patterns - much more than I can do in the time The Good Lord will allot me on this earth because I am 71.

I will pass everything on to my older daughter.
