    Hi Everyone,

to even get started. Any helpful information would be appreciated.

Get freezer paper and cut to the size of your printer paper.
iron on the back of muslim fabric
Load your picture and printer with this made fabric paper and print it out on your computer

If you like they make special fabric paper that can be picked up at staples and you can skip all the above...kinda pricey though

I bought a roll of the pretreated fabric at dharma crafts much cheaper than the precut sheets and you can cut to whatever size you want.

If you use your own fabric, be sure and prewash it ot get all of the sizing and other chemicals out of it first  They can keep the dye from setting properly :D:D:D

You also have to treat your own fabric with bubble jet. If you don't, it will fade in the wash. Also in washing these quilts, you should wash in cold water with a mild detergent or liquid fabric softener on a delecate cycle. I have made several of these quilts & am getting ready to start another one that will be a family tree quilt & was ordered from a lady that lives 100 miles from me. She saw one of my photo family tree quilts & wants one too.
