Default making a table cloth

I went to the Quilters Guild show in Des Moines and I saw a table cloth that I really liked. Should have taken a picture. Does anyone have a suggestion how to make a table cloth. This was just a really attractive piece of fabric that had additions made to the sides/corners...can't remember that just dressed up and attractive cut of fabric. I had purchased a pretty fall fabric and I thought at the time, that that was what I could do with it. I now have a pretty piece of St. Paddy's fabric that I would like to whip up something festive.....Thanks!

The tablecloth I made for my DIL was 80" square. I treated it just like it was a bed quilt. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...h-t171055.html This is a link to the photo.

I make tablecloths for my 48 inch round table. Usually i make a 55 inch or larger square. Sometimes I put no batting in and sometimes I put flannel or something thin. It is a good way to try out new patterns or techniques because it is not to big a project. I like to have seasonal ones. I also make a matching tablerunner for my buffet.

I don't like seams in a tablecloth, particularly where someone might sit a glass or a goblet. Therefore I make whole cloth tableclothes. I use a small, tight rolled edge for a hem just because it is so easy.I like the cloth to hang over the edge to just clear the top of the seat of my chairs.I have to use very wide cloth - usually buy the special table cloth made just for this. Hancock's sells it.
