Math Whoopsie
So I just made a baby quilt for a friend but do to fuzzy math. I made it 36x63. (4 blocks per row for 7 rows) so it it narrow and long. This whole time I thought I was making it 45x63. That's what happens when a woman with a degree in writing does math I guess. If you were me would you:
a.) Remove a couple of rows to make it shorter.
b.) Remove the rows and add them to the width to make the quilt square. (45x45)
c.) Leave it the way it is.
I don't have the option of adding another row to make it wider while leaving the length.

Yep I also vote for B. I know its crappy having to open and redo but I think you will be happier with it in the long run.
But there is an option D: if you have the fabric, make 2 more blocks. Then you could take off one row and add a full row of 6 blocks to the width, giving you a quilt that is 45x56.
