The snowballs, only because it would be different than the first one. Each child should have their own pattern.

I would use the snowball pattern. Our skills evolve over time and we need to challenge ourselves. I often feel bad for my brother who received one of my first quilts. I do a much better job now, but he says he loves it and it's always on his bed.
