Can you name just one?
I was just sitting here wondering if anyone has a favorite pattern that they like to use over and over. For me it was the drunkard path. There are so many variations of it and all look different using the same block. I have 2 different ones going now. I also love a variety of patterns and like to try something new all of the time. Hence, I have so many UFO's and projects going. What about you? Do you have one special pattern that you like to make? Or do you think variety is the spice of life?

I've never made the same quilt twice, but baskets are my favorite type. I've probably done about 10 different basket quilts, mostly applique, but I've also got Eleanor Burns' Grandmothers Garden in the still piecing pile.
I've also got lots of basket orphan blocks when I was just in the mood to make a basket, or trying out different patterns.

I love the Drunkard's Path block, too, but gosh, to pick a favorite would be impossible.
I've made a few Log Cabins and three Wickedly Easy. There are so many more that I want to do, though - I don't want to do any more repeats unless I need to make something fast and I'll drag out Wickedly Easy, again.

I have only made the same pattern twice and that is because I bought 2 identical quilt kits for gifts. I like to try something different each time I make a quilt. I think that if I was to make the same pattern again it would be a snowball quilt. I like to do baby quilts and think the snowball block is perfect for baby quilts.
