OOOHHHH, yes take a breather, sip some hot cocoa with lots, and i mean lots of marshmellows in it, and that should help get your day going better. At least i hope it does.

Love the idea of snow cream. The best part of fresh snow is making snow cream... About the quilt. Can you fix the quilting. Remember applique covers holes fairly well....

I know how you feel. Yesterday we were snowed in. I spent most of it on one block. Finally gave up at midnight.

When we lived in NY we would boil maple syrup to soft boil stage and then pour over packed snow. Yummy like taffy.

Blessings...

We're supposed to get more snow here today. If we do I'm gonna quilt, makes snow cream, and quilt some more.

Is the hole in the back? Perhaps applique another dresden plate over it? I am sorry this happened to you, I hope you are feeling better today.

This is exactly what I was thinking. A decorative appliqued design which repeats something on the front always adds a complimentary touch to the back

Ahhh so sorry to hear about your unfortunate mistake. Nuff to make a person cry! I sure hope you find a way to fix it.
I had somethng similar happen and ended up taking a lot of the stitching out. Is the hole in a location where you could put your label over it?
