I'm making a mini bow tucks bag and am wondering about the pattern. When you put the inside pockets on, it says there should be 2 1/2 inches above the pockets, I end up with 3 1/2 inches. I don't mind moving the pocket but was wondering if there was an error in the pattern..not sure what to do.

I have made 8 of the mini's. Recheck you measurement in Step #5. and be sure your pocked finished edge is facing down. Hope this helps.

I also have too much above the pockets.. but I rechecked everything and the pattern states not to worry if you have more... so I moved along.. I am still deciding what widths to make the pockets.. lol..

I rechecked my measurements and I put the raw edge on the line I drew that was 8 1/2" from the top and sewed the 1/4" seam. I flipped up the pocket piece and pressed and there is 3 1/2" above the pocket.
