Default Miniature quilts

I want to try miniature quilts and would appreciate any tips on web sites or tutorials on that subject. Thanks for any tips you can tell me about.

If you want to do true miniatures with lots of tiny pieces, they are usually sewn with 1/8 seam allowances.

Make sure you press your seams open .............. trust me that will help make the pieces lay flatter, not much bulk where seams will intersect.

AQS recently has a feature on their blog site about mini's and a tip sheet--it was right around Christmas.

If your quilt patterns include Foundation Paper Piecing invest in an "Add an Eighth" ruler. It is so much nicer for miniature work.
