you work on it again? I gave a WIP to a friend. She is really into Christmas. It was an old world Santa. It was done in red-work on the pattern. No, I couldn't just do it like that......I did it in applique. He looked sad not being finished. Patty, my friend, took him and finished quilting him. Then she called me and said she thought he needed something else. We were going to get together for 4 days here at our house. We taped him to the wall with masking tape so we could study him. It came to me one day.......so I took him down and worked in a spot we agreed to do a test on. Needless to say she loved what I started. Our 4 days ended, she went home and he is still with me. Morale to the story........be sure it is given away before you give it away. He is going to be outstanding when all the beading and silver holly stems are done.

Omg, I was so relieved to get rid of some old UFOs to QB members making charity projects, I'd cry if they bounced back! I still have a few that I'm either at a creative roadblock on or just don't love enough to finish, but have too much fabric, time, and good work invested in to permanently discard. They haunt me though.... Glad yours worked out well and your friend was pleased.
