Missing bobbin threat stitch

I have a Bernina 180 and as I was quilting a top over the weekend I noticed it wasn't alway picking up the bobbin thread. It would miss a stitch or two. This morning I tried just straight sewing and it was still doing it while piecing. I have cleaned out the bobbin case and area around it. Any suggestions? TIA Tina
