Love the second layout! As mentioned above, the bottom row is turned. Try turning the bottom row of blocks so they match the first full row of blocks.

OR: You can turn the layout of the first full row to match the bottom two rows.

Do you see the layout changes?

yes! That's the zig zag pattern. Is that one of your quilts, loisf?

I quickly did some copy-paste from the main image to show what I mean with the other layout. Pictures are way easier to understand

I love these high contrast designs.

Yes, it is. I actually made two of them, one for me, because I loved the pattern so much. These blocks can be set in such a variety of interesting designs. I've never seen one done with coordinating fabrics like Linda has made. It's really beautiful.

Thank you for all the helpful comments. I’m not able to get more of the Wild Rose II fabrics so hope to use a small either yellow or green border, maybe 1” and then think I’ve found a blue that will expand it to a decent size, likely a 4-5” outer border.
Lois, I thought is was doing the layout as you showed but I made it too matchy to keep that appearance. Hope this one will be okay. I just adore the Maywood line and excited to get it finished.

That's it! Looks great! With the borders it should be "just right."

Linda, in case you are interested, Ebay appears to have some of your fabric available. I tried to attach the link, but I couldn't get it to work. Just go to ebay.com and search by fabric name. Lucky you to have been gifted such beautiful fabric.

I like the placement that loisf posted best of the 3. Very nice!! Isn't it interesting how many designs can come from one block?

A couple of shops that appear to still have that line in case you are looking for border fabric. https://www.laurelhousequilts.com/sh...-x28983860.htm
