Default long stitch quilting

What is long stitch quilting, i saw it somewhere and wondered what is it. A hand stitch or machine quilting?

It's a longer than normal stitch, done by hand. Have a look at this video

I used size 12 thread on the spool and hand stitched. Tiger Tape was a big help in keeping the stitches evenly spaced.

I think you could do long stitch quilting with a sewing machine, straight line quilting use a longer stitch length.
