    Just purchased the Moda lovely panel. What patterns do you use these for? I wan't to practice my FMQ on them, but not sure what to make, it is a beatiful panel.

    Sorry no help I have not seen it but I have seen some panels done with blocks put around it as a border.

    Ok, I looked up the panel and it looks like it is ment to be cut in blocks. I have seen these put together with a simple blocks between.

    I agree it looks like you could cut those up and add various fabrics to make it all pop....there are numerous ways to make your other squares to create a really lovely quilt. There are a lot of lovely compatible fabrics within the line to really do this up nicely!

    I saw the panels and you could do a BQ quilt using the panels as the focal point.

    BQ is a pattern that has a focal fabric with additional strips. It's a patttern by Maple Island Quilts. They also have BQ2/ You might like the "Hots Shots" quilt. I made that quilt in 2 days. Quilting and all.
