I'm guessing it's a magnet on a pivoting head. If she doesn't have a magnet yet, she needs to get on of the telescoping kind. Beautiful for pins that need to slide alllllllllllll the way under the table.

Did you find those brushes there? They look perect for cleaning lint out of a machine.

Yes, Grannie, your right - it is the telescoping magnet...super for those pins that invariably land under the table or bed.

Yes Lormito...got the brushes there and they're great for cleaning the machine.

I've been pulling out lint with q-tips. A long skinny brush would be ideal, but I NEVER remember it when I'm out shopping.

I don't wear makeup. But I am going to see if I can find the hummingbird feeder brush someone gave me once---------which I never used for that purpose since I just bleach the heck out of the feeders then rinse a dozen times.

If you are a longarmer, they have long large magnets that you can put on your belly bar to hold the quilt top in place.
