I love my Block-Loc for making HSTs.

I always seem to be making 2.5" strips and love my long ruler, I think it is 2.5x18" but it has been hiding for about 2 months now and I think I'm going to be replacing it at the sew expo thing coming up shortly. That means, of course that I will immediately find it as soon as I get home and that's ok. Would be happy to have two!

Because of a discussion here on the boards when I saw an old school textured ruler at the thrift store, I snapped it up and it very quickly became my go to 6.5x24" ruler. I didn't really like them when they first came out but now I love them and I'm replacing my current slippery rulers with textured ones. I tried various things through the years, the little sandpaper dots didn't do much for me, nor the tape or spray, but the ones made with texture are pretty much all great. I did pick up some rubber cement that I'm going to try on my ruler next time a good project comes up, also got that idea from these boards and I can see where I could make good use of it. You can precisely position just a part of a ruler to stick for example, and then when you are done with that project you just rub it back off. Genius if it works!

I seem to make a lot of HST's and I'd be lost without my Bloc Locs. Love them.
Also love Quilters Select. I reach for them more than any others.

All of the Stripology rulers. They have reduced the time For cutting out material more than half. And squaring up has never been easier. Creative grids just came out with a new one that Gudrun Ersla has designed. Game changer.

I'm not sure if this passes as a ruler, but the Marti Michell deluxe corner trimmer is my fave. It trims pretty much every common angle. I perish the thought of trying to do 45 degree diamond quilts without it.

Easy Angle. No more cut and sew big then trim down, that is such a waste of good time.

My favorite specialty rulers are the Deb Tucker rulers. I use them for all of the quilts I make. I design the quilt on EQ8 and figure out how to make the sub units/blocks with my Tucker rulers. I have almost all of them. One of the great things about them is that one ruler makes a large range of block/unit sizes.

Yes to Stripology, anything by Creative Grids, Bloc Loc's for 2.5" in HST's and for FG, and Easy Angle! I do have some of the specialty ones, Deb Tuckers, used to use them but haven't in ages and a Doug Leko that has never been used.

I love my easy angle ruler... I make perfect hsts with it, usually without trimming.
