hi there, mother in law gave me her singer prelude today, does anyone have any experience with these machines?

I just run a couple test straight stitches seems to run smoothly.

are they any good for machine quilting, I think it should be fine for piecing.

also got some nice deals at the thrift store today, and went to the fabric warehouse and got interfacing for 99cents a yard. I have been wanting to try making some wallets and such that require interfacing, now I can.

sewing stuff packed away for the weekend. (boys are here on the weekends, so they get their room back, although I do sneak in and sew or cut some when they are here hehe)

also got a couple things to help organize the sewing area.

hehe works for me too. I just measured the fabric I got at the thrift store... about 5.5-6 yards (did quick measure)

got it for 5.00 (so about or less than 1.00 a yard... and no shipping cost hehe.) it is quite pretty

luther travis for 1980 bloomcraft is what it says on the selvedge (and treated with teflon, so I am thinking it might be ironing board fabric) no matter to me, I like it and the price was right hehe
