Default Can someone tell me what free motion foot to get for my Singer 301

I haven't posted in years and just started quilting again. I just finished a quilt and it turned out great but I am getting tired of ditch stitching.
Years ago I tried to free motion on my 301 and it was perfect top and bottom. I got it out today and had to look up how to do the bobbin and even thread it, but for the life of me I can not find the free motion that fits it. If someone can send me a picture of theirs I may be able to find it.
Also I have a Janome 6600 and tried again to free motion with it but I just can not seem to make it work, the thread keeps breaking. I am using Connecting threads and when I took out the bobbin I noticed a lot of lint. I cleaned it before I started and it builds up fast. I changed to aurifil thread and it did get better, still sloppy. Love that thread even though its expensive, and hate to buy more cause I have a collection of the connecting thread colors.

Edited because I didn't answer your question correctly about the Singer.

PS...if the thread keeps breaking on your 6600 it could be because the FMQ foot is too high off your fabric. There should be a way to lower it slightly. It should just skim your fabric.

The free motion foot for your 301 will look like other free motion feet, but for a slant shank machine. I don't have one, but you can see some here: https://shop.sew-classic.com/Slant-Shank-Feet_c10.htm

Or go to sewingmachinesplus.com....put in your machine name, model and what foot and it will pop up, or you can talk to a tech there-and their prices are good...I'm not affiliated, just a happy customer ....
