When you try to do just "one more" late at night--------it's guaranteed to need ripping!

I've got big white dogs-------------my next dogs are going to be dirt colored! Or black or dark brown or something besides white.

The tool or pattern or fabric or..... that you couldn't find will turn up as soon as you buy a new one

I really didn't know that other dogs pull that. I've gotten into the hang of taking him for a walk first, and then sitting at the machine.

You are hanging that beautiful blue and yellow wallhanging in your daughter's room and all of a sudden you see that one small half square triangle that is rotated 1/4 turn from where it should be. You scream and then swear that you will never tell a soul since it's not that noticeable. Then your daughter comes in the next morning and says "Mom I couldn't sleep last night and I was counting the squares in that wallhanging, and did you know that......" well, whatever, it is what it is. Things happen.

These are so funny, and I think I've done them all. Especially sewing like crazy only to find out the bobbin was out of thread after the first 2-3 stitches. My personal favorite is my 2-3 year old grandson crawling under the table and pushing the foot petal full speed ahead. Can't thread the needle that way!!!

Just when you get into the quilting mode, everything is going good, the cat decides that under the sewing table is a good place to take a nap. When you stop sewing to reposition the quilt, he rolls over onto the foot pedal and starts sewing. I thought my sewing machine was haunted or something.
