Me too!! I have to have something on in the background. I listen to our local Christian station online, my radio doesn't get it in very well. Here's the link just in case someone is looking for a good one. life1019.com

I always have music on. Yanni, Josh Groban, Sarah McLaughlin, Kenny G, sometimes country or 50's. I've been known to dance with my Min. Poodle, Dani or my Diesel Cat.

I always have my iTunes running off my Macintosh in my studio, with a mix of all my favorite CDs.... Josh, Charlotte Church, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Chris Botti, Katherine McPhee, Jane Olivor, Linda Eder, Elaine Paige, Sarah Brightman, Andean pan flutes, etc. etc.. Love Irish/Celtic music... Loreena McKennitt, Enya; and most broadway music as well... I really like almost everything as I sang my whole life... school, church, Sweet Adelines, Chorale. Music and quilting are my soul! I am MADLY, MADLY in love with Chris Botti for the present. He gives me total shivers with his incredible trumpet - THE BEST!!!!! He is trumpeter for Sting, and I've always been crazy about HIM!!

I have a variety of music, oldies, country, rock, downloaded onto my Bose surround sound that I play when I'm sewing. As long as my husband isn't home watching TV. I have a small cheap stero CD player I use when he is home.

I listen to music or a book on cd while sewing. If the family is around, I will listen to the tv, son's school day or just family talk.

He appears in Branson, MO quite regularly and does concerts throughout the Midwest especially. He is great to listen to... so light and upbeat all the time! At home when I quilt alone, it's anything but mostly "world" music - reggae, hip-hop, religious (Gaithers and Signature Sound are great), and easy listening (Westlife, Lionel Richie), and even some Akon (from Senegal, Africa). MUSIC IS MY THING so almost any kind works for me but quilting needs to be really special! It's my 'OTHER THING'... the main thing is to ENJOY IT!
I love Daniel O'Donnell also and have been to Branson several times to see him. always watch when he is on PBS.
Love the Gaithers and used to watch them on TV every Friday night. Now they are on an hour later and I'm usually in Lullaby Land by then. I sure do miss them.
