Muslin Fabric
#3
My favorite Muslin from Joann’s is Legacy Premium, I buy it by the bolt and it comes in a wide array widths. I love backing quilts with it, it has such a wonderful silky hand! It really allows the quilting to show when used as a backing!

ours is closed. you have to order over the internet for pick up in 2 days.
how do you buy fabric over the internet? colors? quality? and when I
want to buy, it pulls up a whole bolt. very frustrating for me. I can't
wait for them to re open.

I ordered thread from JA online because I drove by about 5 times to see a long line waiting to shop. Only 5 customers at a time in the store! It came, but it was short over 10 different spools. Called customer service and was told to send an email. That was Friday. I got an email that said they received my email. Won't order online from them again.

Joann usually has what I need in muslin Right now I am using the Roc-Lon 120" wide bleached muslin. I buy it by the bolt for quilt backings or for the foundation on other blocks. Nice fabric. I also you the premium unbleached muslin from JAF. I try to stay away from most of their other fabrics. Prefer online fabric shops like fabric.com or Paducah. Our store is only curve side services right now and so there is nothing I really need.

I buy Legacy Premium by the bolt. Several widths are available. I make a lot of 30’s reproduction quilts and muslin is a staple!. If I am hand quilting I like it on the back as well. The stitches look so pretty and it is lovely to sew.
