My adopted quilt arrived
#1
thelondonzoo posted a new classified to adopt a quilt. She is finding unwanted quilts homes, so others can appreciate them. This was her second rescued quilt and it was a baby quilt. I have been blessed with my first grandchild, a boy, Taylor Daniel, and to commemorate is birth I thought it would be great to rescue this one. Thanks to thelondonzoo for the rescue. I will see that it gets a great new home!

What a lovely idea, much better than to say you have a quilt you got in a yard sale, or that someone dumped at a picnic spot beside the road.
Couple of weeks ago I got the neatest animal zoo baby quilt at a church rummage sale. I'm surprised that someone would let it go, the colors and patterns on it made it a real original, and it even had a hanging strip on back. I know just the kid who would love it for his "Watching TV with the big folks" time.
