My DD went to Kenya this past summer on a mission trip, and she bought me 2 different patterns of batiks from Africa!!! How neat is that?!! (I haven't even figured how much of each, but they're nice-sized pieces - probably 2-3 yards each!)

We're heading to my son's to celebrate Christmas with his family in a bit, so when we get home, I'll try to get to it tonight. If not, I'll do my best to remember to do it tomorrow. Thanks for asking!!

Well, the batteries in my camera died, so they're on the charger now. I won't be able to take a picture of the fabrics until tomorrow...

Very cool. I brought back three lengths of cloth from Cameroon this fall - about 6 yards each. The cloth is typically sold in lengths that dresses can be easily made from.

Have fun with your new fabric.

    Cheers, K
