Default My Christmas Gifts from DH..

I'm so excited... my DH ordered a Feathered Star pattern from a company early in December for me. He was really upset that it didn't get here before Christmas & then to add insult to injury, they said it was out of stock & so they had cancelled the order. He had to write them to find this out!! So he told me to see if I could find it somewhere else on line. I found the Lumina Feathered Star at Canton Village Quilt Works and they have a lot of Judy Neimeyer quilt patterns there. I even found the Glacier Star which I've wanted for a while now. They are mostly too expensive for my budget so I hadn't expected to ever get one, & DH told me to get the Glacier Star as well, so I have the pattern & queen borders coming!! I got the ship notice today! I am on cloud nine for sure and can't wait to get it in hand!! I've been getting a few of her much cheaper patterns to make up as I can & they are so beautiful!! He likes the Water Wheel pattern of hers that I put together. :-)

That's really nice that he tried to get the pattern for you, and now you've got the construction/assembly to look forward to!

Your hubbie is priceless! Love that he supports your hobbie and enjoys the results. Have fun and share share share. I love Judy's stuff but have yet to find a pattern I want to try, though they are all incredible.

What a sweet gift from your hubby. And I admire you tackling those patterns! They are so beautiful, and quite an undertaking. Be sure to show us your progress.
