Have I missed some trick with the "new" metallic floss? I am having such a hard time. I guess I need a needle threader-never used one before. Thread splits, knots, yikes!More goes in the garbage than on my quilt!

I have the same difficulties. I love the threads, but don't know if it's worth the trouble.

You might try metallic thread that is for machines. I had better luck with it with my hand sewing.
