I would go with backing or a wide border. Shops here are showing large print borders and they are quite effective.

It appears this isn't a lot of fabric really. Maybe treat it as a panel and come up with an idea of bordering it with either plain strips or your favorite blocks. Such pretty colors in this that we'll be anxious to see what your decide!

I would go with Illinois suggestion. Use the fabric for the center of the quilt like a panel and make blocks to go around it in colors pulled from the fabric to compliment the center. Beautiful fabric though!

One block owner is very good use of fabric. Once it's stacked it's cut into strips and there is very little waste!

want to try something different? use flowers and leaves to make 3D flowers (rough cut one or more, sandwich RST with batting, stitch and turn right side out and topstitch or quilt to give texture). put several into a "bouquet" with vase on a table.....pic of some I've done.

if it were mine, i would probably just fold it up and put it away, thinking it was pretty when i bought it.
