Test it first, since I didn't try all the colors and maybe the difference in fabric could change the result too. I have a little block I used it on in the laundry now....still a little nervous.

Try it but test it first. Just to make sure.

Ok, took my block out of the dryer (the marker color was orange by the way). All evidence of it is gone!!! Woohoo!

I love the crayola washable markers and the fine point tips are the best! I was wondering about if ironing would keep them from washing out.. good to know

I tested these markers once by drawing a square of each color on a strip of white kona cotton. I wrote the color I used beneath each color in black permanent marker so I would know which washed out and which didn't. I let it set overnight then washed the strip of fabric in the washing machine with regular detergent only. Every one of the colors washed out totally. I could not see any evidence of any of the colors.
The only thing I can't speak to is what if the marked quilt set for weeks or months before being washed. Don't know how it would wash out after a length of time.

I only use fusion pens. They iron out and they're wonderful!

Has anyone tested all the colors by ironing over them then washing? I've been using the Frixion pens as I am a devoted "presser".
