I couldn't quit until I got to the end.
I really enjoyed your narrative - - lots of suspense, moving right along, with just the right amount of description ...

me too. been watching and hoping. maybe if we close our eyes and spin around 3 times really fast while saying "I'm a fabricaholic" then check back in, there will be a chapter 2. here's hoping. wink, wink, hint, hint

Perhaps the story fairy will wave her wand in a sprinkling of sparkly dust poof! another story will appear. Did you ever hear of Spirulena the house fairy???
