Default My first attempt at a dresden plate

I have been away for several weeks visiting family in Canada. On my return I thought I would like to try doing the Dresden plate. So with some trepidation (as I thought it would be beyond me) I followed Jenny Doan's (missouri star quilt co.) tutorial and wallah. Look what transpired!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just beautiful...I have not yet tried this pattern. Was it difficult?

Welcome back! Always nice to go on a family visit. Dresden plate was my first quilt and I love it still. Your colors are great, are you going to make a quilt of them?
