Only thing I would do is add a solid border around the whole thing (and as far as the double sashing, leave it on, it adds a little something extra). Nice job. Welcome from New Jersey.

Welcome! I'm with you on being indecisive with my blocks as well, but go with your gut and it will turn out well. I think it's really pretty what you have set up with your blocks.

I agree. I think it is very nice and you are doing a great project. I have to have everything balanced, so the double row in the middle doesn't agree with me. BUT ! You are the artist, if you are happy with your layout go with it. Happy sewing

I like it! My only suggestion would be that as anew quilter you might be happier with 2 birds in a row instead of three. It will hang down the wall better. And the finished product might lie a little flatter against the wall. Unless of course you designed it that way to fill a space that you had in mind!
