Very intriguing story and beautiful quilt block for your challenge!! Yes, I'm with others in saying you should definitely get this story published. I think we can all relate to this at one time or another in our quilting lives, lol!!

Love your writing, great story, & your quilt is lovely too! I am not big on stripes either, but like you, I like using them in borders....

I think it all goes together beautifully and I love the stripes with it--and I'm not a stripey person, either. You did and excellent job and should be very proud of it. Your applique looks really good, too!

I have to agree with the other posts that tell you to get your writing published.

Send your story to all the quilting magazines with a picture of the quilt. You did a great job. I like it. I love applique and you did a great job with the applique.

Wonderful story. Hope you write many more and can get them published. Your challenge turned out very pretty. And the stripes do fit in very well.

From one newbie to another, I think your work is just wonderful. Can't wait to see more of the same.

I love your narrative- which one was the original challenge fabric?
