What a wonderful gift you have received! Like many others, I hope that you make a lap robe or quilt for the kind man who
gifted you with the fabric. His wife would be happy that he was generous with her stash and that he gave it to someone who truly appreciated it. It was kind that you let him talk to you during your craft exhibit.

It was no mistake that your booth ended up next to his. You have been truly blessed. Now you will be looking for more time to quilt LOL I agree with the others , something in memory or a thank you would be very nice, it doesn't have to be prefect just genuine. maybe something scrappy to use a lot of the fabric you received.

How sweet of him to give it to you. I'm sure his wife would approve. She would want it to be put to good use.

I agree. If you can find this man, either begin visiting him, and/or make something nice 'in memory of ....'.
What a generous heart he had to give you all that. Thanks for sharing and God bless that man...whomever he is.

What a wonderful kind heart! I agree with the others. You should definitely make him something in his wife's memory and to also show your appreciation for his generosity.

Lucky, lucky! It was nice of him to find someone who could use it. Sounds like it will keep you busy!

A lap size quilt with in memory of would be great so he can sit under it when watching TV or resting. Older folks get cold easily, and he would have part of her to warm him, what a wonderful feeling that would be for him.
