That's so sad. A business that is thriving and has proven stability for many years should not be tossed aside in this economy.

Can't believe it is closing! I have wanted to shop there but never got back up in the area after I got into quilting.

Is there another building in the area the owners could move it to?

What are they going to do with all the inventory?
Where are you and your co-workers going to go?

I understand your loving the job. I work in the Fabric Dept at WM and love it! I'd love to have my own shop someday, but for now love helping my customers there.

((Hugs )) to you as you say goodbye to what's been a part of you forever.

I had heard about Hayloft closing and some friends and I are making the 2 hour drive tomorrow. By far Hayloft has been my favorite. The staff is so helpful and the selection and prices are great. I keep thinking some fairy godmother will come out of the woodwork and find a solution. By the way, there are plenty of vacant stores in central jersey and we would love a fabric store close by. (I can dream can't I?)

I can't believe it :( I drive from the Poconos to shop there, or should I say my husband drives me LOL

I have a friend that hasn't ever been there and we were hoping to get there before it's too late.

How much stock is left?

Will pray for a quilting Angel to appear and find a solution so that all the quilters can still have their needs met.
