Default Northcott Fabric?

What is everyone's opinion on Northcott fabric? I am currently working on a quilt that is all 30's prints and I would like to have an off-white antiqueish colored fabric to go with. I am a big fan of Moda solids and Kona, but I found this Northcott Antique 13 that I think would go great with. I have never used any Northcott so what do you think? Or do some of you have another color/brand that looks old/antique looking?
Thanks all!

Northcott has some beautiful fabrics. They are nice quality. The most popular ones I've seen recently are Stonehenge and Peacock Paradise - not what you are looking for, but just for reference of their quality.

I have used it once and was happy with it.

Touch and feel and get up close and personal with the fabric you are considering and make your decision on the facts of what it is!
(and audition with your other fabrics, that for sure it is what you want)

Northcott Fabrics has a good name.

I made a 30's Irish Chain several years ago & got some really nice white from Nancy's Notions that was called "Vintage White" (I think). It was perfect! Not too white & not too cream.

Northcott is a very reputable manufacturer. I've used their fabric for years.

The only white I use (whenever white is needed) is Robert Kaufman's Kona Snow.

http://www.fabric.com has the best price (trust me I've done extensive research on this, since I use a great deal of it) + free shipping when your order is $35 or more.

I'm using Northcott Stonehenge fabrics in a quilt right now. I love the feel of the fabric and the quality. My only negative about it is that it tends unravel more than some of the other fabrics I've worked with.

I got some fabric at an estate sale called "Northcott Silk". It is not silk but it is quilting cotton. This is the most amazing stuff! Really different from other fabrics. I will say that Maywood seems to be the heaviest and most reliable fabric - they just don't always have the prints I want. I've been folding up my quilting room so have had a chance to compare. Definitely Maywood is super high quality still - as some have gone down hill.

Another thing I have noticed is that the older Joann's or Cranston is really good quality fabric. As good as the brand names today. Some of the brands have gotten as thin as voile almost.
