Very nice!

I have a oval shaped cloth bag that I created. It hangs down in front of my machine held in place by a bean bag sort of weighted flap. The part that contacts my sewing cabinet has some of that rubber shelf liner material on it to make it stay in place. I use a similar bag to hold my scrap pieces of thread that I trim off as I go.

I really like your wooden binding holder.

I always fold mine like that, and either lay it in my lap, or put it in a basket on the floor at my feet so it comes straight up to the machine, no tangling that way.
