She managed to make it down the hall to the bathroom door when she ran out of thread and fell over. Needless to say, it was a large spool of thread. Since then, she doesn't come near the sewing space. Unfortunately, I still can't make her leave the ironing board alone. It is the perfect height to watch the birds.

I love your kitty, I use to have one just like it, I had to have mine put down she was 18 yrs old, everytime I log on here and see yours it makes me think of mine sure do miss that old kitty. She went with us all over the country, when we went up to Canada she went with us. She love to ride in the car, she would get up behind the back seat and just lay there and never move.

Once I tried to grow mint in a couple of pots in the kitchen window. My cat kept chewing it to the dirt. He would smell like mint for a day or so after. It was then that we all knew the mint was being grown for HIM, not us. Needless to say mint growing in our house was not at all successful! :roll:

Crates solve lots of problems. Hubby calls it giving him a time out, like with kids, of course, with kids just making them sit on a chair.

That is Peaches; he is the sweetest kitty you could ever imagine. I have two others; his sister Cuddles and then a big gray and white long hair that looks just like a Norwegian Forest cat. His name is Fella and he is 6 years old. Peaches and Cuddles are three. P & C were rescued from the nursing home where my dad is in Dripping Springs. The whole litter were orange and whites and I found homes for four of them. The other one looked exactly like Peaches but was the biggest in the litter. I am sure someone grabbed him too for they were the most adorable kittens.

I must be lucky. My cat doesn't bother anything in my quilting room. She may come in when I'm quilting, but then leaves and lays outside the door. I made her a small quilt for the couch and she seems to know that is hers. Once she did cozy up in my daughters quilt that I was quilting, but I think only because I had to leave it under the machine. It took several days to quilt (queen). Now when I'm sitting at the computer or watching TV, she demands to be on my lap.
