I love it when someone gets a new machine!! Now you need to practice on it and start posting pictures of the beautiful quilts you're going to make. By the way....I think your boyfriend is a keeper.

I bought myself the same machine for Christmas, and just tonight I finally got the time to set down and try all the different stitches, and it is so quiet. I know I will just love it to work with.

I have the same pony. I really like mine. Guys who "get" the whole sewing thing are awesome.

Maybe Granny's cranky machine could use a little oil and maybe there is some lint in her joints.........
she might be good for a backup...
Enjoy your new machine/pony.....we have both machine and horse and believe me machine is less work!!!!!and it won't throw you off if it doesn't want to "play"
