Default My second quilt finished

This is my second quilt. I’ve learned a lot between this one and my first. I have less bulky seams and did a much better job on hand finishing my binding. Still have a lot of work to do with getting things well aligned.

How fun! I love the polka dots. Did you plan in the large red diamond in the top center or did it just happen? Either way -- I like it!

I have a couple of large multi-yard pieces of solid fabrics and I've been trying to think of fun projects to do with them, one of my ideas is very similar to yours.
