What a great thing your husband did, I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope one day I get to see it.

What a great treat! I saw this exhibit, in PA somewhere I think, a number of years ago. It is wonderful.

My DH and I saw the exhibit when it was in Ft. Lauderdale. The one made of her deceased husbands denim work clothes made me feel so sad. Hope you all can see it or at least read about the collection.

Sunkistmi, it is so cool to read something from someone near to where I grew up. Didn't start quilting till the move to Ga. but always check out quilterly stuff when I get back to Ply.
You have a most considerate husband that surely "gets it".JJ

Wow, what a sweet husband to take you to see this! And thanks so much for telling us about it. I am heading to the Flint area next week to visit my Mom & Dad. If the exhibit is still there I will certainly try to see it. Thanks so much.

How interesting, the Gees Bend quilters know what it's all about. They are fascinating ladies. I am glad you were able to experience that. Quilting brings so many people together, lots of hearts are warmed from quilts themselves and the stories they tell.

Sounds like you need to wrap yourself in a quilt, drink something warm and rest that back. I hope you feel better soon.

I saw the exhibit when it came to Baltimore awhile ago. Got my three friends to go with me. They were impressed as was I with the colors and had they were combined.
