How many people out there name your sewing machine, and what is his/her name? I had never thought of it until I just read a post where someone had named theirs! I think that I will now name mine SusieQ! Or if anyone has any other suggestion let me know!

My 20 something yr. old Bernina 1230 is Bertha. She's my workhorse. My new 730E is Nina. None of my other machines have names.

Suzie Q sounds good to me!
I haven't been able to come up with a good name for mine Designer 1, I love her to pieces. I'm thinking Emilee, because I have always liked that name, what do you think??

I should add that I used to call my mother-in-law Bertha even though that wasn't her name. I loved that woman dearly and we had such fun together. She has since passed and I know she would be glad to have my machine named after her.

My Janome Horizon 7700 is Lucy. My Pfaff Creative 2.0 is Ethyl. My Serger is Fred. Can you tell I Love Lucy! LOL. My 12 year old has a Janome 2010 she named Ivy because it is green.

I've never thought of giving my sew. machine a name, now I 've got to think about it.

May be I call her "nameless". May be not, it sounds heartless. :?

Maybe it is cause I call her a girl name and she is a boy!! And imagination can be a bad thing but you were probably spot on!
