Sadly, I have injured my solis (not sure if spelled right. That's the muscle that runs along the inside of your spine to your leg.) so I'm out commission right now. The meds make me dizzy and fatigued so I don't trust myself at the sewing machine. Maybe I'll get some hand sewing done.

What are you going to do? Will you visit a quilt shop, show, retreat, etc.

Will you be staying home and quilt your heart out???

A friend of mine and I are going to Grand Junction, CO to shop for fabric to finish off my sunflower block quilt top. This friend taught me how to weave rugs using strips of fabric. She's a gem!

I have all of the fabrics to start "Sue's Purple Passion". Don't know if I will be cutting for that or trying to finish up the blue one in the frame.......

Hit the fabric shop today to stock up on "things". Weather is going to be pitiful tomorrow so a good day to quilt! Started my first landscape quilt, love how it is working out. Will post pictures soon. It is the one shown on Sewing with Nancy, the trees on the ombre fabrics. Wish everyone lots of sewing on their DAY!

Been studying Eddie's tute for the Cathedral Window. Since they are predicting winds and SNOW ...yet again, for N. Texas, after a 70 degree day today, my plans are to start my CW, and stay in where it is warm and quilt. This is one of my favorite holidays!!!
