I'm not making anything special for Quilting Month but I am working on several things right now, including a star quilt for a wedding gift.

Ruth, are you working on anything special?

I am going on a quilting retreat for the weekend, and our guild will be making lap quilts for the wounded soldiers. They are going to Walter Reed Hospital.

To recognize National Quilting Day, a lady in our quilt guild is going to teach Eleanor Burns' Quick Trip quilt. She has about 15 signed up for the class.

There is an organization in my area, West Virginia, titled "Boatsies Boxes". They periodically send supplies to the soldiers. I am sure that you could start this wonderful project. If I find out more, I will let you know. It is important that a label be attached so that the soldier receiving the quilt will know who made it and sent it. If I can help anymore, let me know. granny
