Susie, I had the same thought...isn't every month Quilting for us? I desperately need to finish up 3 small projects and start a birthday quilt gift. For my parade custom, I will be wearing my hair up w/ a cloth measuring tape woven through it.

oh my.... have my Bonnie Hunter Grassy Creek to finish up, another full sized quilt that I was doing while waiting for the mystery to come out but didn't finish, another one that started out as blocks to practice ruler work on but morphed into a twin size quilt and now is too big for my sit down machine so will need to go on the long arm. The quilt guild is working on baby quilts so I can go through my stash to see what I can find. I have yet to try my new Bernina since it came back from the shop a few months ago for the second time and I want to at least try the embroidery function, and I have about 7-8 ufo's to finish and about 15 new projects to start and a whole bunch of scraps already cut into sizes to deal with, and a stack of magazine and books with patterns I want to do....oh...and I need to vacuum and mop the floors when I can find them again. Oh my...time for a nap

I started the free Monday Sew Along during this month to make the Bloomarang wall hanging. Misty from MSQC is hosting it during March. It's pretty, small, and has all the techniques that some quilters let get rusty, I know I did. Free printable pattern with templates included.

Our small, informal quilt group (7) will get together for a day of working on whatever project each of us wants to do. It will be a potluck so everyone shares a dish. We get together in the basement of a church so we each have a big table to spread out our project while working on it. Always a good time.

I'll probably do just as I do every month... make quilts.

Ha! I love it! Maybe I'll do the same. My sister gave me a haircut so my wild locks looks a bit better.

I have spread my wings, as far as my sewing goes. I have approached two more businesses and will now have product in three places.😎 I am currently making outdoor pillows along with the jelly roll rugs that will all be in the shops for sale. So my plan this national quilting month will include working on those.
I would very happily put on my mask to go and watch a quilt parade, and social distance of course..😁 Who would the grand marshal be? I would nominate Jenny from M*, or Marianne Fons, of course Nancy Zieman would have made a great grand marshal. Any other nominees?

I'm another that every month is quilting month.

as to dressing up for a parade, I know for sure I'm not putting vintage machine flywheel on my behind!
