I wanted to post this for you all to see. I bought a purse from this lady on ebay about 5 years ago. I love the way she uses vintage textiles and repurposed jeans to do her bags. I've looked but can't figure out if she still sells or not since these pics are several years old and she has nothing on ebay. Just thought you might enjoy them.

I love the old drapery fabrics (barkcloth) so much. that is what I make my bags out of. There are so many different patterns, and they are a bit sturdier than quilting cotton. Also a bit more unusual.

I love barkcloth too. Collected them for several years to use in pillows along with chenille bedspreads and vintage trims. My husband bugged me until I sold most of them last year. I loved them.

checked out all the bags, they are all really cute. Guess I am going to have to make a bag one of these days.
