That was an amazing video. Did you see that person who could perfectly match the seams and sew? I'm pinning and never getting it right the first time (or sometimes even second or third)!

Now you know why no one wants to pay what one of your handmade quilts is worth. Those woman probably make a couple of dollars a day. That is why those quilts sell for less than we pay for our material. We had a vendor at one of our guild quilt shows several years ago that was selling tops and finished quilts from such an organization. I paid $85 for a blue and white star patterned king size quilt top. I spent another couple of hundred dollars having it long armed and gave it to my step-daughter for her 20th anniversary. It still cost me less than it would have for me to make it myself. Since my step-daughter, if she uses it, will wash it to death I think I got the best end of the deal.
