I use Rayon, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

The thread seems to be good and the colors are absolutely beautiful.

Once you get serious into the embroidery, you will find that is not enough color selection and you will need to spend more. I will be bold and suggest that if you can afford it, look into getting many more colors. I will suggest something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/160-LARGE-CONES-...item5d2b1d8702

Please don't misunderstand me. The package you found is great, but soon you may need more. If you wish to make labels and such, that is enough. If you visit www.emblibrary.com and fall in love with them, you will need more. I also found that shortly after I started embroidering, I needed to get more black, white and primary colors. You run out of those very quick.

From another Maria

you really never know until you try it, unfortunately each machine is it's own animal, what works great for me may not work at all for you. try all the different threads you can, see what your machine likes best and make notes of the ones that do not work so you don't waste money on them again.

What's the weight? Should be 40 wt. and I don't see the wt. anywhere on the site.

Beautiful thread, I don't use rayon but it has a beautiful sheen and it's ideal for embroidery.
