I've been thinking about getting that Bungee chair from the Container Store. Glad to hear someone likes it.

I use a desk chair that swivels and adjusts for height.....I love it!....it's also on wheels, which works out very well on my hardwood floors....just remember not to lean over forwards too far to pick up those pins or your butt will end up on the floor with the pins (go ahead, ask me how I know...LOL)

A sewing room chair needs swivel wheels because we are always getting up to cut, press fabric and back to the sewing machine. Also no arms on the chair, I think they would get in the way and bump into your sewing cabinet.

I also use an office chair without arms. I like the cloth upholstery.Once I got used to the swivel and the wheels I was sold. When I move to the dining table for working on larger quilts, I roll my chair along. Pushing a dining chair back and forth is hard on the back and legs.

I use an office swivel chair. I've been using one for years and have been through several styles. The one I use now has arm rests and so far, I like this one the best. It takes up a bit more room but is way more comfy!

I bought an office chair that swivels years ago and its still sturdy as ever .. I wouldn't trade any other chair for it. I can also change the height on it which makes it nice.

I use a swivel rolling office chair. I have my sewing room set up in an unused bedroom, I have an L shaped area, on the right is my sewing table, i swivel to my left and there is my ironing table. So much better on my knees than having to get up.
Since the bedroom is carpeted I had one of those plastic office mats on the carpet so I could roll the chair. Well after years it wore out. One day we were at a barn sale and I saw an open box of those wood laminate floors (pergo type) that go togeter like a key in a lock. Well for 10.00 we bought it and DH put it together, my chair glides betten than when it was on the plastic thing..btw...it was over 40.00 to buy the plastic thing. So I saved money, it looks nice too.

I use a swivel chair. It is so easy to get in and out of your sewing space to get to the cutting area or ironing board.
