Default Need an easter pattern for a quilt guild "Group" quilt

I'm looking for a pattern to use for my quilt guild monthly block swap and would like a block with an easter theme - prefereably a pieced block rather than an applique. Each month we feature one pattern - every member takes the pattern home and makes one block with whatever fabric they have on hand. Sometimes we use just two or three colors - sometimes "scrappy" -- but the fabrics are always a "surprise"! The following month we all bring our blocks and have a drawing - the winner takes home all the blocks and has a new quilt project to put together! Does anyone has a pattern to suggest - It could be either a fun or religious theme...

If you look for pieced basket patterns you can turn one into an Easter Basket by choosing the right fabrics. Each person could "fill" their basket with their choice of appliqué eggs, bunny etc.

That sounds interesting - but I'm new to the quilting world -- not familiar with a snowball block -- any suggestions where to look
