Hi
I am looking for more swaps then are on this board, and I was wondering, where do I want to find them?
Thank you

Click on search button above then type in 2009 swaps. This list is from September 2008. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Do you mean other sites with swaps going on?

Yes, most other ones are very inactive.

Could just be because the members are too busy sewing to chat on the computer all the time. I know several boards that have very active swaps going on at all times, but don't think it would be considered proper to direct you to them. Sorry.

Some online swaps are ongoing, some just for a month or two. Last year's birthday block swaps were great for a couple months, then folks dropped out until us winter born folks got shorted.

Before you join a swap, make sure you either know you can rely on these people in it, or can afford to "donate" blocks to people who may not reciprocate.

I'd look for swaps where a moderator collects the blocks, along with return postage, then forwards them out on a given deadline.

By the way, US folks, postage is going up again - to 44 cents for the first ounce, so buy those forever stamps now!
