Default Help finding what I need

I have been asked to make a 4 season quilt. However, I don't want to make a full sized quilt - I'd rather do something like a wall hanging. I've tried to find a nice sized (not to big, not too small) wall hanging that showed 4 seasons and haven't been able to find it. Then, I thought about making 4 individual wall hangings and they could be changed out as the seasons changed. I can't find 4 that are similar enough in size. If I do 4 individual ones, I'd make them reversible so they'd only end up with 2 wall hangings, just have to flip them around for the correct season to show. Any ideas? I wouldn't mind a pieced background with applique on top - or maybe all pieced if it was pretty enough. HELP!

What about the same pieced block made with four sets of seasonal fabrics. The blocks would all be the same size. I have another question though. You said that you have been asked to make a quilt, but will do a wall hanging instead. Will the recipient actually hang the wallhanging? I always hesitate before I make something that's going to hang on a wall. People's decorating tastes are so different.

I thought the same thing about making a WHOLE quilt. I don't know their colors so it seemed a bit daunting to try to do something seasonal that was BIG.

What I've done for a certain spot in my house is to make a wall hanging for each season with the same measurements. Maybe you could personalize theirs? Not with colours but with their life happenings? Mine started out with a squirrel on a sled for one month... a snowman with a wheelbarrow of hearts for valentines.... a leprechaun with shamrocks for St. Pat's etc. just to give you a few ideas.
BUT I have also seen ONE scene done with the four different seasons...but after a quick search I haven't been able to place that pattern, will keep looking.
